REBDA has partnered with Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited to launch the REBDA–Stanbic Gateway Project — a flagship initiative offering fully funded entrepreneurship training, one-on-one coaching, and ongoing mentorship to 400 selected women business owners nationwide.
The cohort targets nano (40%), micro (40%) and small (20%) enterprises, drawn from SACCOs and women's groups across 17 districts in four banking regions:
Participants will strengthen record-keeping, market linkages, and readiness for formal financing through banks and VSLAs. Selection includes affirmative action for rural women, refugee entrepreneurs, and persons with disabilities.
